Team 5122 wants you to BE BRAVE!

"One of the hardest things to teach young women is how to trust their decisions in the absence of certainty."

Lisa Schultz
Team 5122 Mentor

Our team's goal is to inspire students, especially girls, to learn to how to BE BRAVE!
Important facts and advice:
  1. Bravery is trying something even when you are not sure of the outcome.
  2. It's okay not to be perfect.
  3. Try something even if you don't know if you will succeed.
  4. This takes practice!!  Keep trying and never give up.
This year's FRC theme is "Stronghold". We battle with our alliance partners to breach defenses and capture the castle.  Our team faces many challenges during these events that require teamwork, perseverance and, of course, bravery!

Our Inspiration:

The inspiration for the Be Brave! movement came from a TED Talk by Reshma Saujani, founder of Girls Who Code.

"We have always been an equal part of the past. We just haven't been a part of history."    -Gloria Steinem
